Genesis Non-Profit Housing Corporation (GNPHC) stands as a beacon of compassion and community support in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. More Than Just Property Management

As both the owner and developer of all its properties, GNPHC takes an integrated approach to its mission. The organization utilizes a blended management model of property management and health services for affordable senior living with enhanced services at each permanent supportive housing location. This collaborative culture ensures that residents receive comprehensive support and care, reflecting GNPHC’s commitment to quality of life for all residents within its housing communities.

Properties

NPHC has strategically placed its eight properties across Kent County to meet diverse needs. Six sites prioritize permanent supportive housing for those formerly homeless or with unique needs, while two focus on seniors, providing market rate independent senior apartments and a mix of affordable assisted living options. This reflects GNPHC’s dedication to compassionately serving a broad spectrum of community members.

Testimonials

I love my apartment. It’s got a lot of room for me to move around. I have my bedroom and a storage room. My kitchen is wide space with the dining room. My bathroom has a lot of space for me to move around with my walker, my living room as well. Good space! I have a wall unit I need to get rid of it. That will give me more. I have a lot of cabinet space that is great.

I moved into my 2-bedroom handicap accessible apartment with my 2 youngest sons in April 2018. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I had never lived in income-based housing before, and had recently become disabled.
I can’t say enough good things about how helpful and accommodating my apartment is. I have lost a lot of mobility since moving in and have no issues with moving around in and using the appliances and such in my place…
Bonnie D.

We need more affordable housing like St. James. It’s a safe place where I can continue my recovery from substance abuse and mental illness.
